BLANKETS FOR DETAINEES

Status (COMPLETE)

Under the current administration’s former “zero-tolerance policy” thousands of immigrant children have been separated from their families. According to the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, more than 10,000 children are being held in detention centers. However, only a fraction of them have been reunited with their families. These children are being held in prison-like facilities where they lack many necessities, but most noticeably they lack blankets. L.I.F.E. is working with R.A.I.C.E.S. to collect and deliver blankets to the detained immigrant children. Join L.I.F.E.’s cause to help the separated children.
